When you come back at 2:15 PM for pickup, please text us at 732-858-0283. We will send you in via text message. We will go over your pet’s medications and we will also answer any specific questions you have about your pet’s post-operative care. We send you home with all needed postoperative medications. It is important that you watched the video and prepare any questions to ask at pick up as we do not review all of the recovery information with you.
Post-operative concerns are rarely a true emergency. If you have any follow up questions about post-operative care, our veterinary staff can be reached after hours at [email protected]. Please email us and await instructions.
Female and Cryptorchid Male Cat Discharges

Your pet received long-lasting pain medication via injection and will not go home with any oral medication. We also do not routinely send cats home with E-Collars as they generally do not show interest in their incision, however they should be monitored for licking throughout their recovery. If you think your cat will need an E-Collar, please let us know and one will be provided for you.
