Admissions Procedures

If your appointment needs to be rescheduled or canceled, please contact us.  No show appointments hurt our business, especially during this difficult time.  Thank you so much for this courtesy in advance!

If you, anyone in your household, or your pet is sick, please reschedule for 2 weeks after the last person or pet in your household showed clinical signs.

Cats should be dropped off between 7:30 and 8:00am.  Dogs should be dropped off between 8:00-8:30am.

Due to the Covid19 pandemic, our clinic is practicing social distancing which means we are not allowing more than 2 clients in the waiting room at one time.  We realize that this may cause some delays in admissions in the morning but we ask that you respect our staff and other clients to help minimize the incidence of possible transmission.  Please review the short admissions video at the link below.

Please bring a mask to wear in the building.

Please request any relevant records from your veterinarian or rescue and fax them to us at 732-796-0902, or email them to [email protected].  Please do this at least 2 days before your appointment.  This will expedite the admissions process in the morning, and minimize handling of papers.

Please be aware that although all animals should continue to be given water until the time of their appointment, adult animals must have food withdrawn the night before surgery at midnight. If your pet is four months or younger, they may have a small amount of food until 2 hours prior to drop off.

When you arrive, we will ask you to please remain in your car and text the following number when you arrive: (732) 858-0283. You should receive an automated greeting and someone will text you when it is your turn to bring your pet into the building. If you receive no response to the text, please call our office at (732) 796-0900. We will ask you a few short questions about your pet’s health.  We will go over what procedures will be performed, and take payment - accepted forms are cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do not accept checks, American Express, or Care Credit.

PLEASE NOTE: due to the length of Route 35, some GPS units place us in Keyport. Please verify where we are by finding us on Google or Bing, or call us if you have questions.

**Comfy Collars and Microchipping are available for your pet.  Please inquire the morning of surgery.

We appreciate your business and thank you for your patience during this difficult time.

Thank you so much and we look forward to meeting your pet!

Testimonial

  • "Extremely nice and helpful! I was nervous about my dog going in for his neuter surgery, but they alleviated my nerves. Post surgery you have access to the vet’s emails for any questions or concerns! Would recommend 👍🏻"
