Cat Discharge Instructions

Once your pet is dropped off, please view our new virtual discharge instructional videos below.  You will be assigned a discharge time in the afternoon.  When you come back at your scheduled discharge time, we will go over your pet’s medication list and we will also answer any specific questions you have about your pet’s post-operative care.  We will then bring your pet, any medications, and paperwork out to your car.  It is important that you watched the video and prepare any questions to ask at pick up.  This will minimize our staff's physical contact with you when they bring your pet to your car.

**Keep in mind that we recommend shredded paper litter for 24 hours in male cats.  We also do not routinely send cats home with E-Collars.  If you think your cat will need one, please purchase prior to pick up.

Post-operative concerns are rarely a true emergency.  If you have any follow up questions about post-operative care, our veterinary staff can be reached after hours at [email protected].  Please email us and await instructions.

Testimonial

  • "Extremely nice and helpful! I was nervous about my dog going in for his neuter surgery, but they alleviated my nerves. Post surgery you have access to the vet’s emails for any questions or concerns! Would recommend 👍🏻"
